No but seriously imagine this- one of you had this plain steel ring, nothing special or anything just collecting dust at the bottom of your bags. Honestly, you don’t even remember which one of you it originally belonged to

When you first met, one of you had stolen the ring from the other to prove they were “superior with their hands” to the other. Eventually, it became a game between the two of you, every few days stealing this little trinket from each other. And bragging until the other stole it back. It didn’t matter whether either of you wore it on your fingers, around your necks, or even hiding it in folds of clothing. Neither could hold onto it for more than a week before the other snatched it up 

The most memorable little moment with this ring- once you had both gone on a late night walk, hand in hand. The moon's soft glow bathing you both in silver, it was like a scene out of a romance novel, especially when you leaned in to press your lips against his

And then- 

While he was distracted you slipped it off his finger and booked it. Immediately running as fast as you could, not daring to look back, laughing as you sped off with your prize

Unfortunately for you, Astarion happens to be a vampire spawn. Vampire spawn are quite physically inclined, and Astarion is pretty fit

What I’m saying is you made it a good 30 feet before getting tackled to the ground and had the ring wrestled out of your hand 

Honestly, though, you were laughing so hard you didn’t even mind losing the game, you were just happy that for a second your master plan had worked. 

Astarion complained about how his outfit got all dusty because of you, but you had heard him laughing right along with you when he had tackled you to the ground

Astarion won’t admit this, but that ring means more to him than any bejeweled precious jewelry ever could, because it connects him to you

Both of you claim to have the best set of knives and take every opportunity to show off to each other with your skills. Once you actually picked a lock with a smaller blade and you could swear it caused Astarion to be a little flustered. 

Sharing clothes? Sharing clothes. Listen, I'm just saying, will you let your vampire boyfriend burn up in the sun or will you lend him that nice new cloak you just got? Yea, that’s what I thought now it’s joint property. Dw tho it all evens out when you steal one of his nightshirts (it’s the comfiest thing ever, and not just because it always faintly smells like him) 

You guys definitely do couples' heists together. Sneaking, pickpocketing, lockpicking, running from the law, it's all in a day's work for the most shifty couple in Faerun. One of you might distract a lord while the other snuck into his vault to retrieve some valuable magical item. 

Ok but in all seriousness, y’all must be the most ethereal couple around. Imagine seeing two people glide over the rooftops of Baldur's gate, each jump almost like steps to a dance they both know by heart. Flitting around each other like ribbons in the breeze, one with soft silver hair and the other face obscured by their pitch-black cloak, hood pulled up and rippling in the night air. They dance across rooftops, swift as shadows, graceful as spirits, never touching, and yet somehow the rare onlooker knows they are meant to be a pair.

Some bard has definitely written a song about that last bullet point I promise you. 

You two probably had a million cons just waiting to be used. I imagine during your time together trying to get rid of the tadpole, you would both talk late into the night, bouncing ideas off each other, throwing out ideas of different tricks you could pull on the unsuspecting. Some genuinely clever, most just absurd attempts at making the other person laugh.  

If you ever actually got the chance to you it though? Oh ho HO. let me tell you how this went down. Your party had gotten into a situation, attempting to be as inconspicuous as possible. But by a bout of bad luck, someone had started harassing Karlach and at the same time, Lazel had started yelling at a guard, hand on her sword, inches away from striking. The party needed some sort of distraction, and luckily you both had just the thing. 

Astarion had grabbed the nearest glass of wine and splashed it on you, then putting on his best offended face he anguished, “How could you cheat on me?!?! And with my own BROTHER!?!?” That sentence made everyone's head snap up, including the guards as you both laid the theatrics on thick. You kept this act up with Astarion for a good 10 minutes, with fake tears and dramatics from both of you. At one point on the spot, you made up that he had slept with your mother and it was revenge, and the crowd was extremely invested, people taking sides, guards trying to calm down the chaos. But hey you're fake out worked, Karlach and Lazel were able to sneak away quietly and you had both given the distraction of a lifetime. Shadowheart disapproves.

Occasionally the two of you will talk in Thieves cant to each other when you don’t want the party to overhear certain conversations. Originally you were both probably talking about important things like strategies and debating about how to go about getting rid of the tadpole. But now you kind of both just use it to piss off Lazel a little. 

Ultimately you two really understand each other on a deep level, you really are 2 people with one mind. And together there's a world of adventure out there for you both, and infinite fun magical items for you both too “acquire”.

okay! i did some math and if i wanted to get every shrine and still have time to beat the game before pikmin 4, i'd need bare minimum to get 3 shrines per day. but i want FOUR shrines per day so i also have a bit of time to fuck around. today i've gotten the two on satori mountain and it is OFFICIALLY cleaned out. i didn't plan to get all the korok seeds, but they were RIGHT THERE, so.

not sure what shrines im getting next...maybe the horrible hand one by the tower just to get it out of the way lol. i can't believe i walked past those hands 3000 times w/o knowing they were close by. augh

Piraticus, Piraticus… that’s where all the "scary" pirates go, right? Well, it doesn’t matter to Toytoriya, all they’re interested in is their giant ships and sunny beaches! To them, the pirates' dorm and its members are just another group of people to befriend, and its dorm a place to play in.

Lotsie considers Conrad to be quite the mature fellow, and one of the few dorm leaders to have an, at the very least, decent imagination. However, he doesn't appreciate the pranking Conrad and his dorm crew like to pull on other dorms. So what if Toytoriya is barely targeted? It makes no sense to pick fights with potential friends!

The two probably make jabs at how they run their respective dorms, but so far they haven't gotten too personal about it! Let's hope it stays that way.

Lotsie hasn't met many fairies in his life, but he does think Tink is the most wonderous one he's met! His wings, his magic, even his personality, Tink himself is the anomaly in Lotsie's daily routine. He initially saw his temper as a little irksome but got used to it the more they chatted. Lotsie enjoys spending time with Tink whenever he comes by the dorm for repairs (and probably called him once or twice about fake incidents just to hang out). He agrees with the fairy on a lot of things. But disagreements? Hmm... if he has any, Lotsie wouldn't say.

To be honest, Krok and Lotsie would get along...ok? Lotsie doesn't really know how to deal with lazy personalities, being the energetic man he is. All in all, he'd try to keep his distance from Krok, but be friendly when the time calls for it. Well, that and offer up whatever snacks Toytoriya happened to be making that day.

Conrad is seen as more well-grounded to Pat than he lets on, but that doesn't make this pirate safe from his brutal judgment. All that fighting and pranking, its ought to turn into a mess. And if there's one thing him and Lotsie agree on, its that messes are always troublesome. However, he does see and believe in Conrad's balance between childish behavior and adult responsibilities. Hell, some of his own dorm members are better off learning that!

Pat believes Tink to be a good repairman, and that's pretty much it! Troublemakers with a knack to start arguments are just a mess waiting to happen. All Pat is happy about is that at least Tink is helping keep Toytoriya up through his fixes.

Two solitary folks, Pat probably wouldn't think much of the supposed strange beastman other than for Krok's annoying pocket watch.

A real, genuine pirate! Zackery is already impressed, and Conrad hasn't done a single thing! He'd probably assume Piraticus' dorm leader to be just as "evil" as him. Conrad's trickery and mischievousness would get this overlord following in his steps (much to the chagrin of everyone in Toytoriya).

Zackery would see Tink as a fellow engineer of sorts. After all, the two do have a knack for building things out of the stuff they find. However, he'd be confused to find that Tink is more... old-fashioned when it comes to things like bot-making and computer-building. Why not learn how to build some machines? They help Zackz more than anything.

Tbh i can see them doing a challenge to see if Zackz' tech can beat Tink's skills but eh. thats just my thoughts teehee.

Zackery would find Krok to be pretty amazing, actually. And by that I mean he'd assume his upperclassman to be a literal bad guy. What do you expect? He's a chunnibyou 16-year-old hearing rumors of a nasty classmate with an insane appetite, of course, he'd assume Krok was an evildoer of some kind. He'll be a little disappointed to find out thats not the case, but at least he might have made a new friend by then!

Like Zackery, Saturn sees Conrad as one of the cooler dorm leaders. Not only are they both levelheaded when needed, but they also don't mind some mischievous fun every once in a while That said though, he would rather stick with Lotsie if given the chance to switch dorms. After all, there are only so few people in the world who would let an 18-year-old launch fireworks and explosives anywhere and everywhere.

With Tink's mouthiness and Saturn's old bully tendency to retaliate right back, those two would probably battle with every encounter. Yes, both have grown exponentially compared to how they were a few years ago, but that doesn't mean either is safe from starting a fight. I like to think Saturn usually wins these arguments, with him being more level-headed. But hey, that just might mean he's a common target for pranks!

Saturn might be concerned about his best friend hanging out with a rumored crocodile, but he'd probably calm down after meeting Krok face-to-face. I can see them befriending each other without any trouble! If anything, he'd find Krok's UM to be quite cool, and ask about how magic tastes.

Just kidding! Winston sees Conrad as the average reliable upperclassman, just like Lotsie. He'd probably see if he can get some pointers from him on how to run a crew. After all, a stage full of actors is a crew in itself!

Away from that, he thinks it's a little funny how they both are what their outfits suggest they are, with Winston being a cowboy and Conrad a pirate.

Just like Saturn, Winston and Tink probably wouldn't get along too well. Instead of their tendency to fight though, their egos would probably get in the way this time. This cowboy probably wouldn't appreciate getting judged right where it hurt, and I don't think Tink would either!! All in all, its best if these two are kept away for the time being.

With Winston being the stupid gutsy guy he is, I can see him trying to immediately poke at the bear that is Krok (or do I say crocodile in this situation?). Of course, he wouldn't try pranking them or anything mean like that, but rather just. bother them? Asking questions Krok doesn't know the answer to, (unknowingly) making jabs at them, annoying stuff like that!

I have to return to my studies of Spanish soon, but I'm also learning Italian (~B2). I remember when I first came to Italy and started learning Italian my rudementary knowledge of Spanish was useful in some aspects and harmful others. I'm afraid that returning to it will result in me mixing them up constantly :(( Any words of wisdom? 🙏

I don’t know how much wisdom i can actually impart, but i can always try to help out a fellow language learner. What i will share are a few tips i discovered during my 14 years of learning languages (god that almost makes me sound old and experienced lmao), and in my 10 years of learning more than one language at a time. They are not rules and are very much shaped by my experience, so feel free to spice them up at will:

First of all, when possible: Avoid languages of the same family that are way too similar!: The more similar they are, the more difficult to keep them separated, as you might have noticed. But we all know how tempting it is to learn them all, and at the same time, even if we know that if we learn that one language we will be able to understand the others as well because of their similarities. I know you will ignore this one. That’s ok, I did too. There’s some fun to it. Also sometimes we just can’t choose the languages we learn, so let’s go to the “real” advice

Only start a new language once you’re advanced and comfortable enough in the other language you speak: For this I would say around a B1 level is ok, even tho I always started mines when I was at a A2 level, but I must say it was without me realizing it. From my own experience, I would say a B1 level is better. This is so you can concentrate on practicing using and improving one language you already know quite well, while learning new basic vocab and grammar exercises in a new language. if you start another language while you are still in the middle of bulking vocab and grammar exercises and memorizing rules and words, you might confuse the two or get overwhelmed

Consider using different methods for each language: With this I mean, for example, improving your Italian via immersion (watching tv, reading, talking to friends, etc), and studying Spanish the “traditional” way, with exercises and vocab cards, etc 

Consider learning one skill at a time: That is, concentrating on studying only writing in Spanish, and only speaking in Italian. This makes learning a language seem longer, and maybe a little boring for some, but it’s a good way to keep the languages separated in your mind, since you will be focusing on different aspects of the languages at a time 

Designate days and times for each language: Learning each language whenever you feel like it will create more trouble for you than needed, and make you feel overwhelmed and frustrated. A way to counter this is via a good structural learning routine. You can designate specific days to languages even if you don’t take language classes and even if you use all the languages each day.

What designating a day to a language means is just basically that, in that day, you will focus more on that language. Mondays and Sundays are for studying French, and Tuesdays and Thursdays are for learning English, etc, for example. You can even adapt this given your routine: for example, in my case, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday are Uruguayan Sign Language days, because my sign language classes are Mondays and Wed, and most Deaf events are on Saturdays. I find it is easier to include them in a routine you already have, and not making a new one around the languages you want to learn

Assign times to them: An alternative, or addition to assigning days. It works the same, but might be more helpful if you have problems keeping or following a routine, too. Instead of assigning whole days, you make it a time of the day. So, instead of learning or using a language during the entire day, you do it only in the morning, and in the afternoon you can switch to another language. All you have to do is keep that order as much as you can without switching them up. This, as well as the day one, will help keep the languages more separated in your mind and help you not mix their grammar and rules and pronunciation, etc

On a similar note, use different notebooks and colors for each language (in ink, highlighters, notebooks, etc). You can also designate different parts of your house to study, or different places around town if you use the language in a certain place (classroom, work, friend’s house, etc). Make the distinction physical, palpable as much as you can

If you forget your routine… well, then now is the best time to start again: If for some reason you forget yo go to a class or sit down and study on your own when you were supposed to do it, PLEASE don’t give yourself shit for it. Do the studying right there when you remembered. Or the next time you are supposed to, if you have/want to keep the routine, 

Concentrate on one more than the other: I know I know, no one of us wants this! But it will help I promise! It doesn’t mean you have to forget one or leave it aside. Just put more time, effort, or a more conscious studying in one of them (I normally do it with the language I'm just picking up, since I already know of the other, and so I can do a more “passive learning” on the one I know the most, and center in the other one)

Learning more than one language at a time is possible, even if they are very similar! You just gotta be more organized than usual, I've found out

“No no no, WAIT!” You yelled as you shot up from your laying position. You were laying in bed, not covered in blood and running for your life. Looking over to see your boyfriend wasn’t laying there like he normally was. Probably on another hunt or watching TV like he always does when he couldn’t sleep. You sat on the edge of the bed after turning on the lamp next to your bed you could hear the rushing footsteps of Michael before the door bursted open. He heard your yelling and he assumed someone had broken into the house and attacked you

When he saw you were ok he stood there confused, knife in hand and head tilted to the side as if silently asking why you were yelling and if you were ok. He kinda just stood there as you took a moment to yourself for a bit. You’ve had nightmares before but none that felt this realistic “s…sorry, I just had a nightmare…..” you told him as you wrapped your arms around your waist, hugging yourself for comfort since you knew how much Michael didn’t like to be touched but Michael had a soft spot for you that he himself likes to deny he has. Meaning he’d do things way out of his comfort zone just for you, after a few seconds you layed down on your side and closed your eyes, you wanted to sleep so badly but you were afraid to because you didn’t wanna have another nightmare

After about a minute you felt Michaels side of the bed dip down when you didn’t move he grunted a bit to get your attention. You flipped onto your other side to see what he wanted “yes, Michael?” You asked, he opened his arms a bit and gestured for you to come to him, you didn’t hesitate to scoot over towards him and cuddle up against him, he felt so big and warm you couldn’t help but give a satisfied sigh and smile. For Michael surprisingly he got comfortable really quick with this, yeah cuddling and affection was new to him but anything for you he doesn’t matter what he has to do or how far out of his comfort zone he has to step out of

“Hey Michael — thank you for this” you said with a soft tone, you just saw him give a single nod before he closed his eyes. He might have to start doing this more often with you. Edward Deegan:

“You need a lookout?” While he can easily mask his concern and anger, on the inside he is fuming at the thought of someone filling Sole with this fear. He keeps a good eye on them and everyone they come into contact with.

“Oh mum/sir, perhaps I could prepare your food and drinks then?” He doesn’t question their fear any further or worry himself with wonder. Instead, he offers a quick solution that he knows Sole would never turn down.

“O-Oh, did someone, uh, did anything happen to make you feel this way?” He immediately grows concerned for Sole, internally debating with himself whether their fear was justified or if they were out-of-hand. Without being able to come to a clear consensus, Travis decides to just support them by watching out for them.

“We should be going now, dear. No longer should we waste our time in an environment like this.” He spits the last word out like venom at the man flirting with his Sole, and drapes an arm over their shoulder as he pulls them away.

He somewhat knows how to play from Jack, but couldn’t really get into the game with his boss. However, he wouldn’t turn Sole down when asked to play. He definitely enjoys playing more with Sole than Jack, and it’s nothing personal, he just prefers Sole’s game banter to be more entertaining.

He knows how to play and gets really excited when Sole asks him to a round. Codsworth is quick to set up the board and pieces, being fair and fun competition to Sole. He could literally play with hours on end with them without complaints. His little metal heart is so content in every moment spent with his happy master.

At first he is slightly annoyed that he had followed them out in the first place just to get left behind. But then he follows them closely and notices their behavior and immediately wants to comfort them. He will approach them and confront them of their change cautiously, as to not upset them anymore. “You are absolutely perfect, my darling! How could you not see it yourself? Why, even the whole Commonwealth can see your radiant beauty. They are practically drooling over you everywhere we go.”

Edward Deegan:

He grumbles but reluctantly lets them go. They will find him back at the Cabot’s house. When they finally do come back, he is quick to pull them aside and confront them of the issue. After catching onto Sole’s strange behavior and understanding the issue, he would soften and take them in his arms. “Hey beautiful, no one can quite do it like you, ya hear me? I was so lost without seeing your pretty self here everyday.”

Synth!Codsworth:

While he wants to argue with Sole and follow them regardless of their request, he must follow their orders anyway. He will wait at Sanctuary sadly, sulking away until his partner returns. When they finally do, he doesn’t exactly confront them. Moreso, he lets them know that he understood the issue from the get-go, he just never got a chance to tell them how he felt. “My dear, how could you see just how amazing you are?”

Travis Miles:

He feels as if Sole leaving him behind is entirely his own fault, and doesn’t exactly understand that Sole is feeling a certain way about themself that pushed him away instead. He will go back to Diamond City and continue the radio, occasionally speaking to Sole over the broadcasts. His constant compliments and very sad pleas for them to come back eventually lands them back in his shack. He immediately begins apologizing until they hush him and tell him the truth. Travis immediately goes silent and just stares at them, attempting to form words. Finally he can manage, “B-But you’re- it- you look really good. How can you not like the way- ARE YOU INSANE?”

But after an unsightly incident a few years back he has been trying to take some time out of the day for himself. It is also the perfect excuse to have some quality time alone with you.

He likes to have you sitting on top of him while he lounges. Your weight and heartbeat were soothing. A living noisemaker.

It has become a routine now. You come and rest with him and enjoy each other's company.

This time you were a little distant. Your eyes constantly track the motions and actions of his mouth. You seem fixated on every little thing he does. From a sip of his drink to the way he scowls while reading the evening news. You’re mesmerized by something.

He takes it as you reliving the taste and feel of his lips on yours. He'd be happy to give you a reenactment. But, when he leans in for a kiss, he senses...fear?

No. Surely you had gotten over that little mortal hurdle. For all things unholy, he hasn't even threatened you in over a year.

He'll pry, demanding a reason for your sudden apprehension. If anything to mask his own fear with righteous indignation.

When you tell him it takes a lot of effort not to laugh. It wasn't a ridiculous notion. He had indulged once or twice in his younger years-not that he would tell you. The thought had crossed his mind not that he would tell you. But really you would have been dog food before he would put any effort into it.

He'll brush your concern off. He has no interest in your flesh in such a rudimentary form. Now that pretty little soul of yours was another matter...

“You seem- distracted.” Lucifer’s purrs against your temple kissing it tenderly. His deep rumble resonates down your spine. “What are you thinking about γλυκιά μου?”  He drags a razor-sharp canine down your neck teasingly. “Something good perhaps?”  

“No, sorry.” You burrow closer to his chest. “Just had a… thought.” Lucifer’s thumb stills, halting the teasing pattern he had been tracing into your thigh. He scowls brushing his nose across the crown of your head. If you were thinking of anything other than him, then he was doing this wrong.

That thought was… offending. He had carved out a spot for you in his already ridiculous schedule, and yet you seemed miles away. Normally these precious moments were spent with you snuggling close loving his undivided attention, and him loving yours in kind.

Tonight your demeanor was so demure. You clung to him as usual, soft lips trailing down his jaw to the little sliver of exposed skin from where he had loosened his tie hours ago. But, it just felt like you were just going through the motions. “Speak.” A request and order in one.

"If given the chance, would you eat me?"

"What?" Lucifer cups the back of your head and pulls you away to make eye contact. "What?" He balks, eyes wide. His expression was completely undignified. That certainly wasn't what he was expecting.

You explain to him about a conversation you had overheard in your early days of the exchange program. For some reason, it just hit you then at the feel of his mouth on you.

"I- hmmm. Personally, I would have fed you to Cerberus. I don't particularly enjoy the taste of human flesh." He settles back into his office chair unfazed. He thought he had something to worry about. "Besides, I have come to find I like you warm and breathing." He pinches your side teasingly ready to get the evening back on track.

"Wait! You thought about it!?" His blasé tone takes you aback.

Lucifer knocks his forehead into yours with a snicker. "Not too hard. Besides you'd probably give my pups indigestion with all the trouble you’ve turned out to be."

Beelzebub

He likes to spend time with you at his favorite cafe. The one with the little tea cakes and great sandwiches.

Normally you will spend a weeknight there studying and munching together. One hand scribbling away in your notebook and the other engulfed in his large hand. By the end of the night though, you always find your legs interwoven with his and his ginger head resting on top of yours.

He is full and happy. So happy in fact, he steals a kiss, and then another.

It’s a good thing he picked a booth in the back so the rest of the cafe can ignore the couple nestled closer and closer in the back. He sneaks a few more peaks in here and there, whispering softly. It was going great until- He hadn’t expected to feel you lock up. Was it something he said?

You’re embarrassed when he pulls away and tries to brush it off. You just got swept up in some thoughts, no biggie.

He won’t pry, he gets it, it happens to him too. But, when you untangle yourself from him he has to know what’s up.

When you tell him he is distraught. Because he 100% has and probably still will eat a person. He might have munched on a witch that had pissed him off just the other day…

What he hates most is he can’t really lie and deny that he hasn’t thought about it.  

“You taste amazing.” His words ghost over your lips as he savors the sweet mix of your coffee and natural flavor. You always taste like spiced oranges and honey when your lips brush. It’s intoxicating. Suddenly the flavor of you changes, a sour note hits his tongue. You go still and look out across the small cafe.“Are you ok?”

You pull away blinking rapidly. “Yeah-sorry.” You chuckle humorlessly. “Just...had a thought.” You try to move back into his arms but he stops you.    

"What's the matter?" He tilts your chin up with a callous finger. You turn your head away and answer. "What?" He could hear you just fine. Superhuman hearing and all, but he just couldn’t comprehend what he heard.

"Do you consider me as a food?" You repeat yourself. "I know demons eat people, and like you've mentioned it before. I guess, I don't know. Shouldn't I be scared?" You've never seen a demon wilt before. Beel recoils and tucks in on himself. His hand flops down to sit on his thigh.

Of Course, he did think about it. Hell’s he had considered it. Aside from being a demon, he was the avatar of gluttony. How many nights had he laid in bed, stomach growling, and your scent filling his nose when you first arrived. Mammon had a work out the first few weeks of school dragging him away from your immediate vicinity. It was fortunate for the both of you that you had bonded so quickly or else he could have ruined everything.

His silence was enough for you to know. "Crazy how things turn out right?" You try to lighten the mood. You stroke his hair gently trying to comfort him. "Sorry, I kinda ruined date night huh?"

"No, no this is good." He chuckles rubbing his neck awkwardly. "Or I mean. We should talk about this. Before Diavolo started working on the exchange program, human souls and flesh were pretty common delicacies." Beel collects his thoughts with a sigh. “The verdict didn’t go over well at first. I wasn’t too happy either if I’m being honest. But, I’m happy he did it in the long run.” He meets your gaze with a warm smile. “You’re the kinda treat I want to enjoy for eternity.”

Asmodeus

A deviant. An absolute terror when it comes to PDA. He doesn’t care if it’s class time. If he wants to be in your lap then that's where he'll be.

He'll nuzzle the crook of your neck whenever he finds his way on to your thighs. He always has a compliment ready for you. New perfume or cologne? Is that shirt the one he bought you? He'll dote on you for hours until you are a blushing mess.

He schedules out movie nights with you. Just the two of you, some good drinks, plenty of pillows, and no bothersome brothers.

The movie he picked tonight was an oldie from the Devildom. He was feeling a little sentimental and thought you would enjoy seeing some culture. You agree, but forget one little thing.

Old Devildom culture was...pretty graphic.

Asmo doesn’t notice how your mind drifted off during the opening act. He is busy creating a new trail of hickies along your shoulder and upper arm around his pact.

He does notice when he hits the sensitive spot of your neck that normally has you squirming but-nothing. Huh? Was he losing his touch? He is usually so aware of his partner's mood. He asks what’s wrong.

Your question comes out of left field. He panics, figuring the movie wasn’t the best for this conversation. He turns it off and gives you his full attention.

Has he eaten a human or two before. Yes, back when he was young and would get swept up in the heat of the moment. Crimson was a lovely color on him.

You try to console him. Really you get it, it was an errant thought. You know he won’t eat you.

Can he still call you a snack tho?

You watch the movie in dead silence. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you figure you should probably be disturbed by what you see on screen. Were you that desensitized? Probably. Should that worry you? Maybe? You try to weigh it out in your hand. The black and white feature flashing across your eyes. You have seen worse in crappy human B rated horror movies. But, those were special effects and pints of red-colored slime and food coloring. You had a nagging suspicion that the scene in front of you was real. You glance down at the slim demon trying to fuse his body into yours. His body flickering in and out of focus in the flickering lights of the movie. You try to focus on him, his warm body nestling closer to you under the blankets. It worked for a moment before another loud roar from the screen dragged your eyes back up.

The contrast between the violence on the projector and the soft innocents of Asmodeus’s lips on the corners of yours was wild. He wasn’t even paying attention to the film. Typical. This was his normal ploy to have you all to himself. It worked though, and you loved it. Oh- You watch with wrapped attention as the human on screen was consumed both body and soul by a horde of demons.

“Is the film more magnetic than me?” Asmodeus pulls away licking his lips. His rose-colored gloss was smeared across his cheek. You shudder blinking past the sudden thought of what that soft red color also looked like.  

"Nah," You huff wrapping your arms around him to press your chest to his. He purrs practically preening from your attention. "Just thinking."

"Oh~" You can feel his playful smile stretching along your hairline. "Care to share." He nips your earlobe.

"I just, humans really are just kinda food to you guys huh?”

You’ve never seen Asmodeus move so fast before in your life. One moment he is doing his best impression of an octopus and the next he is standing several feet away from you, hands raised in a mix of shock and defense. “Where would you-” He trails off hearing the sound of violence and death behind him. “Oh Hells.” He clicks off the projector in a panic. “I am so sorry honey! I did not think that through.”

You laugh awkwardly. “Would this be an inappropriate time to say I would go straight to your thighs?”

Asmodeus snorts in the dark. “Hips more like. You are nothing but sugar and fluff.” He flips the lights back on and he comes back to kneel next to you. He cups your face. “You know I would never do that right? I can’t say I haven’t done it before but I’ve never thought that about you.”

You hum kissing his warm palm. “Should I be offended or thankful?”

He hits you playfully. “That’s not funny!” You laugh taking his light swats, grateful that the mood in the room was already lightning.

he goes with his team back to the school and you meet him there too

you either go to his house or yours and one of you spends the night just to calm down his head

you always get snacks and even if he tells you to not get to much junk you always get to much and he doesn’t stop you

he’ll also spin you around when he sees you outside the gym

idk he loves doing it

if he lost than he’ll start on things he needs to do better on and you’ll try and cheer him up with some corny jokes and kithes.

all the morning before the game you two are attached at the hip. 

everyone is just used to you “sneaking” onto the bus to drive with them

in reality him trying and failing horribly to cover you with his jacket and coach just giving up on it

constant quiet giggles at first as you try and calm his nerves

then around the end its more quiet and serious as he focuses a little more

after the game he naps on you the whole way home

if he wins you get to listen to his rambling about some idea he had on signals he could use or a set up he wants to try

he could literally talk for hours on what he was thinking wall watching and playing its so adorable

if he loses then theres a aura of sadness in the bus and if its bad enough he’ll muffle his small sniffs into your shoulder

that hasn’t happen except for date tech and sejioh though and your happy for that

noya constant teasing for a week straight since the big dork is constantly on you freaking out

normally its not to bad and a lot of it is just of how scare he is that his spikes will get blocked a lot and the comments he’s sure to receive about his looks when he gets there

when game day does come you always kiss his cheek and hold his face to tell him good luck

def earning gags from tssuki but you didn’t hear it from me

after the game its like teddy bear time x10

win or lose you get a new weighted blanket for a couple of days

if he wins its a more happy blanket yes but he’s so exhausted that he just falls asleep on you the minute you meet him at his house after they left for the bus

plus a bunch of random ‘holy crap wait i did that?!”’s to himself throughout the day

if he loses he cries a little, blaming himself for the entire thing

you always tell him that its not his fault and that he did his best

he’s honestly so pessimistic the night after and your one it telling him that he needs to remember how it feels but not let it bring him down

you bring him up with those comments and he’s so grateful for it

every time the day before a game he likes to go somewhere with you

weather it be the park, the arcade, an ice cream shop

a freaking pet shop (yes you almost got a pet that day)

he finds it relaxing to see you having a nice time with him and every time he always makes sure its a place to make you smile

after the game he’s a koala on you, win or lose

the only real difference is happy koala or sad koala

happy koala is randomly kissing you and laughing, nuzzling into you while Tanaka either gags or whines about how single he feels

sad koala is sniffling into your shoulder and clinging to you even more if its possible, hes pretty quiet too so you know hes waiting until you get home to talk about everything

literally after a while you’ll get more used to it and get what kinds of attention he wants but like at first its just a lot of complements and stares and draping

he just wants you to return the energy

after the game all depends on winning or loosing

you get normal bouncy sunshine that will follow you anywhere and everywhere all the time

first time this happened you got scared for him cause he never sits still that long

now though you just sorta hang on his bed watching him cause its cute

after the game is the biggest depending there is out of the rest

if he wins he is bouncing of the walls after a little nap

when you finally get him home he’ll have you throw the ball back and forth for like an hour before you call it and make him lay down or eat or something

if he loses its like he lost all his energy for a little while

he tries to fall asleep but cant due to a replay of something he did wrong

you always run your hand through his hair and try to calm him down

calm down as in cheer up not energy

at least until someone says something (usually tanaka) that gets him on another energy high to beat them next time

for activities, oikawa is ALL about the games

he sets up every holiday game he can think of 

does that stupid thing where he wraps a specific gift in like 12 layers of duct tape and 8 layers of bubble wrap and 5 layers of zip ties

like is an ASS abt it but it’s always funny having to beg him to get a pair of scissors for you because he went overboard again

after gifts he’d pull you off to the bedroom and kiss you slowly before

daichi here isn’t into any other holiday EXCEPT for Christmas 

mans does everything for Christmas

he’s buying the decorations and hanging them up with your help

full blown Christmas lights

when Christmas morning comes tho, he’d wake you up nice and early (not anymore so than normal tho) and take you into the kitchen where he’s made the BIGGEST breakfast for you

i’m talking every breakfast food is out on the tabel and you can’t help but shake your head

cause who’s gonna eat it all? 

somehow you two finish up whatever you can before he’s moving onto doing some small activities 

he doesn’t go crazy with them but likes to do some stuff with you

somehow got into painting? 

don’t know how it happened but i feel like he sets up an entire thing in one of the spare rooms

and you two just paint the silliest things you can think of 

and at some point you two def play drunk roulette and try to guess what alcohol was what in each cup  

as for gifts the man is stupid when it comes to buying things 

he goes so overboard when spending money on you 

doesn’t buy like 15 million gifts but will buy you 3 or 4 SUPER expensive gifts 

and you sit there, opening them up and knew he would spend too much money so you also had to buy more expensive gifts 

that he would use everyday just because you paid for them of course

by the end of the night you two end up on the couch, cuddling under a giant blanket, and watching some hallmark Christmas movies smh 

and if you want something a little more exciting, because daichi is That gentleman, he waits for you to ask

and when you do? y’all don’t even move to the bed 

he’d kiss you all slow and dim the lights and let the movie behind you play out as you two focus on the more intimate parts of the holiday

he’d wake up a little bit but you two know it’s too cold so you just cuddle in closer and fall asleep until noon

pulling you into the living room to reveal his gift for you and it’s gotta be like a dog or cat or something istg

And Mingyu is just so excited??? To just see them???? Every single day???

They unlock a really deeply emotional part of him and he adores his kids

The next morning you wake up earlier, so you go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone, but after a while Ryota wakes up too with Kazuhiko on his back.

‘Ohāyo Okāsan.’ your baby boy tells you with a raspy typical morning voice.

After you greet them, you wonder where your baby girl is, but then she runs with her open arms to you.

‘OKĀSAN!!!’ She screams with a worried tone, so you pick her up as soon she reaches you.

‘What’s wrong honey??’ You ask her with a comforting voice.

‘Okāsan…’ then she starts crying. Ryota starts worrying too and comes to you two and tries to get Kisara from you, but she refuses.

‘O-okāsan my… I can’t find my gel for hands.’ She cries harder.

‘Kisara it’s okay. Niichan will give Kisara his gel for hands okay?’ Kazuhiko tries to comfort her, but she shakes her head.

‘NOOO I WANT MINE! MINE HAD EEVEE ON TOP!’ She yells this time.

‘Yea.. about that.. I might.. hmm.. gave it to Sakusa yesterday…sorry.’ Ryota tells you scratching the back of his head.

‘Why would y-… nevermind’ You tell him sighing.

This time she nods and goes to Ryota to let herself get pick up.

After having breakfast I go to the bathroom to take a shower.

As the hot water starts hitting my head, I start thinking about her, and memories of when we were together in high school. I start smiling and laughing as I remember how I was the first one that fell for her and the first time I talked to her I said ‘Use this mask and stay away from boys... except me or else you’ll get sick.’

‘Why did I even leave you? If I could only go back time. I would go back to 4 years ago and tell you how much I love you.’

‘Whatever Kiyoomi, she already has a family, it’s time to move on.’

I start getting frustrated so I quickly finish showering and go run around the neighbourhood to clear my mind.

Time passes by and parents with their kids keep popping up left and right of my view, so I start running faster, but my shoes are so worn out that the soles are so consumed that a hole is formed.

‘Great! Now I have to go buy another pair. This day couldn't get any better UGH!’ I start yelling in my head as I make my way back home and start getting ready, putting on the necklace I can’t seem to let go of…

I now just parked my car, making my way inside the mall and going straight at the sport centre, making sure I have my spray disinfectant and hand sanitizer-

‘What is this?.. A hand sanitizer with a Pokemon in it? Why do I have this? Ah right.. Y/N husband gave it to me.. Tch, whatever.’

I go inside and I hear three familiar voices, too familiar for my liking, they are: Atsumu, Hinata and Bokuto.

‘Shopping with my friends!’ Atsumu says taking a video to post it on his story.

‘Wait, you have friends?’ Hinata says with a mocking face while Bokuto tries not to laugh.

I seriously don’t wanna deal with them right now so I turn around, going to the opposite direction, hoping that they don’t notice me. Arriving at the running shoes isle, I grab their new released one, it’s even in our jersey’s color, it’s all black and there's a little stripe in gold, so I ask the employee if they could give me my size of this model. After she gives it to me, I go and pay for it and right at the exit, I get stopped by a woman and a man.

‘Hello sir! Our pharmacy has a new cleaning product and even a new hand sanitizer! It’s better than the previous one, it’s less stickier and has different scents! The new cleaning product cleans better than any other! We’ll be so grateful if you could at least have a look at it! Have a good day sir!’ The man tells me.

I just nod, those new products don’t sound bad, might as well have a look.

The mall’s big and after walking for a good 5 minutes, I see the pharmacy but I bump into someone.

‘Oh, nice to see you again Sakusa.’

‘Same here Wakatoshi-kun and Kageyama.’

‘Are you here to go to the pharmacy too Sakusa-san?’ Kageyama asks me as we start walking.

‘Yes, what about you two?’

‘We were bored so we decided to come here at the mall.. hmm what about having lunch together Sakusa?’ Wakatoshi asks me.

‘Hmm sure, why not.’ I answer him.

We arrive at the pharmacy and get in line.

‘Wow this guy’s so tall’ Kageyama says amaze by the man with purple hair in front of us, eating snacks as he was waiting to enter the pharmacy with his friend too, me and Wakatoshi-kun agree with him.

We then decide to eat first and come later as the line was long.

After finding for a good restaurant not packed of costumers, we order our meals and few minutes later we start eating.

‘Itadakimasu.’ we say at the same time.

While we’re eating, we start hearing whisperings from the people eating inside the restaurant.

‘They are so hot, omg.’

‘I know right!’

‘Let’s sit on the table beside them.’

‘Wait girls, aren't those Sakusa Kiyoomi, Ushijima Wakatoshi and Kageyama Tobio?’

‘OMG you’re right!’

‘Look! Sakusa-san is so handsome!’

‘I agree, but wait.. look at his necklace.. Isn’t that a ring?’

‘Oh.. maybe he has a girlfriend already…’

As they keep on whispering, we finish our meals and make our way to the cashier, then we go around the Mall to buy new clothes or things we need for our places. It‘s getting late, so I offer them a ride home since we live close to each other, Wakatoshi-kun is beside me in the passenger seat and Kageyama is in the back seat.

‘Sakusa-san, I’m curios too.. why do you have a necklace with a ring? Do you have a girlfriend?’ Kageyama starts a conversation.

‘Hmm no.. this ring belongs to my first love.. even if we aren't together anymore. I just can’t seem to throw it away and i wearing it became a habit.’

‘If it really means a lot to you, just keep it.’ Wakatoshi-kun adds.

‘Yea.. but, how are you guys doing?’ I ask, wanting to change the subject.

‘We’re doing good, tho our manager took a week of to spend time with Kise-san, since he just came back and will be going back to the States in 2 weeks for the NBA preliminaries.’ Wakatoshi-kun answers.

‘NBA? That’s cool, also who’s Kise-san?’ I ask.

‘He’s that blonde haired guy who was with her and the kids.’ Kageyama answers.

‘Ahh.. the father of that cute little boy.’ I say with a normal expression but feeling sad inside.

‘Ah no, he’s not the father.. he’s just Y/N-chan’s best friend..’ Wakatoshi-kun says..

‘The father left Y/N-chan..’ Kageyama continues.

‘The father left Y/N? He really left her to raise a son alone?’ I ask, irritated by the fact that a man left her alone.

‘A son? She has two kids. They’re twins. A girl and a boy.’ Says Kageyama.

‘Twins? D*mn, he still left them? He’s not a man. He’s a b*stard.’

After some time, I proceed to drop Wakatoshi-kun to his place first, then I drop Kageyama, but before he could open the door, I stop him and ask:

‘Kageyama, can I ask you for something before you go? ‘Cuz I feel like I won’t be able to do it if I don’t..’

‘Sure, what is it?’

‘Can I ask you for Y/N’s phone number?’

‘WOW. So you’re that type of guy, huh? That goes after women with kids..’

‘HUH?! It’s not, you weirdo. I have something to talk with her in person, so I need her phone number to set up a rendezvous.’

‘I’m just playing, no need to get so worked up, chill.. alright, it’s …’

‘Thank you, see you later.’ I say after getting the phone number.

‘Hey, don’t try doing something stupid, ‘cuz you’re not the only one with your head on the line. Also thank you for dropping me off. Bye and drive safely!’ He says while he enters through the door without looking back.

Well, now.. How should I even start a conversation…

[2 weeks later. Kansai International Airport]

‘Well, I guess it’s time to board. I already checked-in..’

‘Otosan.. are you going away?’ Kazuhiko asks with tears in his eyes.

‘Are you coming back?’ Adds Kisara

‘Of course.. I’ll be back in no time and you won’t be able to notice that I’m back. I’ll be gone for a while, it’s not a long time.’ He tells the twins with a comforting voice while he’s on his knees hugging both of them.

‘So, while I’m away, I want you two to eat healthy, grow up faster, always help Okasan and always smile, alright?’ He adds before letting go of the hug.

‘Hai, Otosan.’ The twins answer simultaneously while crying and hugging him tighter.

‘Alright, alright. Kazu-chan, Kisa-chan. Stop crying or he’s going to be late. We don’t want that, right?’ Kuroko takes the kids with Momoi.

‘Kise-kun, good luck for the tournament. Also, say hi to the others from me. Have a nice flight!’ Kuroko says with Kazuhiko on his arms crying.

‘Say hi to them from me too! See you later!’ Adds Momoi with Kisara crying on her shirt behind her.

‘Ryota-kun, say hi to the others from me too, also, thank you for your help at the house and for the kids too. I hope you enjoyed your rest time here.’ You tell him with a little bow and a smile.

‘Of course I enjoyed it! Also, I’ll always be here for the kids, I’m their “Dad” after all.’ He says jokingly with a big smile.

‘You’re right! Then, see you later, Ryota-kun. Have a nice trip, call me after you land, alright?’

‘Alright, Y/N-cchi, stay safe when you’re going back. Kazu-chan, you’re the man of the house while I’m not here, alright? Kisa-chan, don’t cry and smile a lot, you’re beautiful eyes and smile need to be shown more!’ He tells the twin before he turns and goes to the departure gate.

You’re all still there watching his back between the crowds of people passing left and right in front of you. Before Kise makes his way to the gate, he turns one last time and stops to look for you. Once he finds you, he says something that really shocks the shiz outta you.

‘I-love-you, Y/N.’ He says it like a whisper and smiles at you, not knowing that you understood what he said, then he goes straight to the gate.

You keep thinking of what he just said, while your face shows how surprised you are, it’s probably something not important.. but you know what he said. You read his lips even though there’s an ocean of people you could read his lips once both of your sight met each other.

Sakusa was pissed that a guy left you with two kids alone, but was also relieved that you don’t have a man in your life.. but he’s now hoping that you and Kise are just best friends.
